Trockenfrüchtefirma

About Us

We are a Zug-based company and believe in real food. That's why our dried fruits consist only of the essentials: no added sugar, no additives, and of course, non-GMO.

How it all began

The story of dryfood.ch began in 2023 with a chance encounter and a clear idea. Marcel Henggeler met a producer from Mexico and shortly thereafter imported the first 30 kg of dried mango to Switzerland. The start was small, but driven by the ambition to offer genuine food and natural dried fruits without additives.

On November 6, 2023, at the age of 16, Marcel founded his own company with a grand vision: to establish high-quality dried fruit as a conscious snack in Switzerland. Initially, he sold his products primarily to friends and family.

At the end of 2023, Marcel ran into his former schoolmate Xavier by chance. Their renewed friendship blossomed into a close collaboration, and together they began to further develop dryfood.ch. In the summer of 2024, Xavier was fully integrated into the company. Together they developed the first website, strengthened the online presence, and expanded the product range to include dried and freeze-dried bananas.

Another milestone followed in December 2024 with the first B2B deal with the municipality of Unterägeri. Today, dryfood.ch stands for natural dried fruits, conscious enjoyment, and the ambition to create honest food products from simple ingredients.
